Yes, installation was as easy as it gets. I oriented the gauge so it can be read from the side when I open the storage door. It provides an additional quick check on relative fuel level as well as leak detection. Of course, the additional safety it provides is the real benefit. A little more piece of mind is always good.

GasStop is an incredibly easy to use device that should really be standard equipment. We’ve had one on each of our 30lb. bottles since the RV show, and it’s a great peace of mind!
Note: We purchased ours, they were not given to us. For the rest of our review/testing, check out Changing Lanes RV: https://changinglanesrv.com/gasstop-automatic-propane-shut-off/

The GasStop propane safety valve was very easy to install on the 5-gallon/20lb propane tank on my Rpod. In my humble opinion, this device should be mandated for use on all vehicles traveling on the roads with propane bottles – especially on RVs that are capable of running the refrigerator using propane while traveling. This will give me a new sense of security and safety and put my mind at ease when rolling down the road with my refrigerator burning propane. I posted an installation video on this product on my 4LowRocks channel on YouTube (but I did use my own money to purchase the valve unit). Check it out at:
